Polyester Powder Coatings

Polyester powder coatings are a series of polyester-based powder coatings formulated with TGIC (triglycidyl isocyanurate) or TGIC-free formulations. This powder coating requires heating (baking) after application to complete the curing process. Under heat, the resin molecules in the coating undergo cross-linking reactions, forming a three-dimensional network of insoluble, infusible, and tough paint film. It exhibits excellent characteristics including high hardness, good adhesion, chemical resistance, abrasion resistance, and heat resistance.
